Глава 3

1 Мальчик Шемуил служил перед Вечным при Илии. В те дни слово Вечного было редким, не часты были и видения.

2 Как-то ночью Илий, чьи глаза ослабели настолько, что он едва мог видеть, лежал на своём обычном месте.

3 Светильник Всевышнего ещё не догорел, и Шемуил лежал в святилище Вечного, где находился сундук Всевышнего. .

4 И Вечный позвал Шемуила. Шемуил ответил: – Вот я!

5 И подбежал к Илию, сказав: – Вот я! Ты звал меня?Но Илий сказал: – Я не звал тебя, возвращайся и ложись спать. Шемуил пошёл и лёг.

6 Вечный позвал его вновь: – Шемуил! Шемуил поднялся, пришёл к Илию и сказал: – Вот я! Ты звал меня? – Сын мой, – сказал Илий, – я не звал тебя, возвращайся и ложись спать.

7 Шемуил не знал ещё Вечного: слово Вечного ещё не открывалось ему.

8 Вечный позвал Шемуила в третий раз, и Шемуил поднялся, пришёл к Илию и сказал: – Вот я! Ты звал меня?Тогда Илий понял, что мальчика зовёт Вечный.

9 Илий сказал Шемуилу: – Иди и ложись, и если Он позовёт тебя, скажи: «Говори, Вечный, Твой раб слушает Тебя». Шемуил пошёл и лёг на своё место.

10 Вечный пришёл и встал там, призывая, как в первый и во второй раз: – Шемуил! Шемуил! Тогда Шемуил сказал: – Говори, Твой раб слушает Тебя.

11 И Вечный сказал Шемуилу: – Я собираюсь совершить в Исраиле такое, от чего у каждого, кто услышит об этом, зазвенит в ушах.

12 Тогда Я исполню над Илием всё, что говорил против его семьи, – от начала до конца.

13 Ведь Я говорил ему, что накажу его семью навеки из-за греха, о котором он знал, – его сыновья сделались презренными, . а он не обуздывал их.

14 Поэтому Я клянусь дому Илия: «Вина дома Илия никогда не загладится жертвой или приношением».

15 Шемуил лежал до утра, а затем открыл двери дома Вечного. Он боялся передать Илию видение,

16 но Илий позвал его и сказал: – Шемуил, сын мой! Шемуил ответил: – Вот я.

17 – Что Он сказал тебе? – спросил Илий. – Не скрывай от меня. Всевышний сурово накажет тебя, если ты скроешь от меня что-либо из того, что Он сказал тебе.

18 Шемуил рассказал ему всё, ничего не скрывая. Тогда Илий сказал: – Он – Вечный, пусть поступает, как Ему угодно.

19 Вечный был с Шемуилом, когда тот вырос, и не оставил несбывшимся ни одного из его пророчеств.

20 Весь Исраил от Дана на севере до Беэр-Шевы на юге признал, что Шемуил – истинный пророк Вечного.

21 Вечный продолжал являться в Шило, и там Он открывался Шемуилу через Своё слово.

Chapter 3

1 And the child5288 Samuel8050 ministered8334 unto853 the LORD3068 before6440 Eli.5941 And the word1697 of the LORD3068 was1961 precious3368 in those1992 days;3117 there was no369 open6555 vision.2377

2 And it came to pass1961 at that time,3117 when1931 Eli5941 was laid down7901 in his place,4725 and his eyes5869 began2490 to wax dim,3544 that he could3201 not3808 see;7200

3 And ere2962 the lamp5216 of God430 went out3518 in the temple1964 of the LORD,3068 where834 8033 the ark727 of God430 was, and Samuel8050 was laid down7901 to sleep;

4 That the LORD3068 called7121 413 Samuel:8050 and he answered,559 Here2009 am I.

5 And he ran7323 unto413 Eli,5941 and said,559 Here2009 am I; for3588 thou calledst7121 me. And he said,559 I called7121 not;3808 lie down7901 again.7725 And he went1980 and lay down.7901

6 And the LORD3068 called7121 yet5750 again,3254 Samuel.8050 And Samuel8050 arose6965 and went1980 to413 Eli,5941 and said,559 Here2009 am I; for3588 thou didst call7121 me. And he answered,559 I called7121 not,3808 my son;1121 lie down7901 again.7725

7 Now Samuel8050 did not yet2962 know3045 853 the LORD,3068 neither was the word1697 of the LORD3068 yet2962 revealed1540 unto413 him.

8 And the LORD3068 called7121 Samuel8050 again3254 the third7992 time. And he arose6965 and went1980 to413 Eli,5941 and said,559 Here2009 am I; for3588 thou didst call7121 me. And Eli5941 perceived995 that3588 the LORD3068 had called7121 the child.5288

9 Therefore Eli5941 said559 unto Samuel,8050 Go,1980 lie down:7901 and it shall be,1961 if518 he call7121 413 thee, that thou shalt say,559 Speak,1696 LORD;3068 for3588 thy servant5650 heareth.8085 So Samuel8050 went1980 and lay down7901 in his place.4725

10 And the LORD3068 came,935 and stood,3320 and called7121 as at other times,6471 6471 Samuel,8050 Samuel.8050 Then Samuel8050 answered,559 Speak;1696 for3588 thy servant5650 heareth.8085

11 And the LORD3068 said559 to413 Samuel,8050 Behold,2009 I595 will do6213 a thing1697 in Israel,3478 at which834 both8147 the ears241 of every one3605 that heareth8085 it shall tingle.6750

12 In that1931 day3117 I will perform6965 against413 Eli5941 853 all3605 things which834 I have spoken1696 concerning413 his house:1004 when I begin,2490 I will also make an end.3615

13 For I have told5046 him that3588 I589 will judge8199 853 his house1004 forever5704 5769 for the iniquity5771 which834 he knoweth;3045 because3588 his sons1121 made themselves vile,7043 and he restrained3543 them not.3808

14 And therefore3651 I have sworn7650 unto the house1004 of Eli,5941 that the iniquity5771 of Eli's5941 house1004 shall not518 be purged3722 with sacrifice2077 nor offering4503 forever.5704 5769

15 And Samuel8050 lay7901 until5704 the morning,1242 and opened6605 853 the doors1817 of the house1004 of the LORD.3068 And Samuel8050 feared3372 to show4480 5046 413 Eli5941 853 the vision.4759

16 Then Eli5941 called7121 853 Samuel,8050 and said,559 Samuel,8050 my son.1121 And he answered,559 Here2009 am I.

17 And he said,559 What4100 is the thing1697 that834 the LORD hath said1696 unto413 thee? I pray thee4994 hide3582 it not408 from4480 me: God430 do6213 so3541 to thee, and more3254 also,3541 if518 thou hide3582 any thing1697 from4480 me of all4480 3605 the things1697 that834 he said1696 unto413 thee.

18 And Samuel8050 told5046 him853 every3605 whit,1697 and hid3582 nothing3808 from4480 him. And he said,559 It1931 is the LORD:3068 let him do6213 what seemeth5869 him good.2896

19 And Samuel8050 grew,1431 and the LORD3068 was1961 with5973 him, and did let none3808 4480 3605 of his words1697 fall5307 to the ground.776

20 And all3605 Israel3478 from Dan4480 1835 even to5704 Beer-sheba884 knew3045 that3588 Samuel8050 was established539 to be a prophet5030 of the LORD.3068

21 And the LORD3068 appeared7200 again3254 in Shiloh:7887 for3588 the LORD3068 revealed himself1540 to413 Samuel8050 in Shiloh7887 by the word1697 of the LORD.3068

3 Светильник Всевышнего ещё не догорел, и Шемуил лежал в святилище Вечного, где находился сундук Всевышнего. .

4 И Вечный позвал Шемуила. Шемуил ответил: – Вот я!

4 That the LORD3068 called7121 413 Samuel:8050 and he answered,559 Here2009 am I.

5 И подбежал к Илию, сказав: – Вот я! Ты звал меня?Но Илий сказал: – Я не звал тебя, возвращайся и ложись спать. Шемуил пошёл и лёг.

5 And he ran7323 unto413 Eli,5941 and said,559 Here2009 am I; for3588 thou calledst7121 me. And he said,559 I called7121 not;3808 lie down7901 again.7725 And he went1980 and lay down.7901

6 Вечный позвал его вновь: – Шемуил! Шемуил поднялся, пришёл к Илию и сказал: – Вот я! Ты звал меня? – Сын мой, – сказал Илий, – я не звал тебя, возвращайся и ложись спать.

6 And the LORD3068 called7121 yet5750 again,3254 Samuel.8050 And Samuel8050 arose6965 and went1980 to413 Eli,5941 and said,559 Here2009 am I; for3588 thou didst call7121 me. And he answered,559 I called7121 not,3808 my son;1121 lie down7901 again.7725

7 Шемуил не знал ещё Вечного: слово Вечного ещё не открывалось ему.

7 Now Samuel8050 did not yet2962 know3045 853 the LORD,3068 neither was the word1697 of the LORD3068 yet2962 revealed1540 unto413 him.

8 Вечный позвал Шемуила в третий раз, и Шемуил поднялся, пришёл к Илию и сказал: – Вот я! Ты звал меня?Тогда Илий понял, что мальчика зовёт Вечный.

8 And the LORD3068 called7121 Samuel8050 again3254 the third7992 time. And he arose6965 and went1980 to413 Eli,5941 and said,559 Here2009 am I; for3588 thou didst call7121 me. And Eli5941 perceived995 that3588 the LORD3068 had called7121 the child.5288

9 Илий сказал Шемуилу: – Иди и ложись, и если Он позовёт тебя, скажи: «Говори, Вечный, Твой раб слушает Тебя». Шемуил пошёл и лёг на своё место.

9 Therefore Eli5941 said559 unto Samuel,8050 Go,1980 lie down:7901 and it shall be,1961 if518 he call7121 413 thee, that thou shalt say,559 Speak,1696 LORD;3068 for3588 thy servant5650 heareth.8085 So Samuel8050 went1980 and lay down7901 in his place.4725

10 Вечный пришёл и встал там, призывая, как в первый и во второй раз: – Шемуил! Шемуил! Тогда Шемуил сказал: – Говори, Твой раб слушает Тебя.

10 And the LORD3068 came,935 and stood,3320 and called7121 as at other times,6471 6471 Samuel,8050 Samuel.8050 Then Samuel8050 answered,559 Speak;1696 for3588 thy servant5650 heareth.8085

11 И Вечный сказал Шемуилу: – Я собираюсь совершить в Исраиле такое, от чего у каждого, кто услышит об этом, зазвенит в ушах.

11 And the LORD3068 said559 to413 Samuel,8050 Behold,2009 I595 will do6213 a thing1697 in Israel,3478 at which834 both8147 the ears241 of every one3605 that heareth8085 it shall tingle.6750

12 Тогда Я исполню над Илием всё, что говорил против его семьи, – от начала до конца.

12 In that1931 day3117 I will perform6965 against413 Eli5941 853 all3605 things which834 I have spoken1696 concerning413 his house:1004 when I begin,2490 I will also make an end.3615

13 Ведь Я говорил ему, что накажу его семью навеки из-за греха, о котором он знал, – его сыновья сделались презренными, . а он не обуздывал их.

13 For I have told5046 him that3588 I589 will judge8199 853 his house1004 forever5704 5769 for the iniquity5771 which834 he knoweth;3045 because3588 his sons1121 made themselves vile,7043 and he restrained3543 them not.3808

14 Поэтому Я клянусь дому Илия: «Вина дома Илия никогда не загладится жертвой или приношением».

14 And therefore3651 I have sworn7650 unto the house1004 of Eli,5941 that the iniquity5771 of Eli's5941 house1004 shall not518 be purged3722 with sacrifice2077 nor offering4503 forever.5704 5769

15 Шемуил лежал до утра, а затем открыл двери дома Вечного. Он боялся передать Илию видение,

15 And Samuel8050 lay7901 until5704 the morning,1242 and opened6605 853 the doors1817 of the house1004 of the LORD.3068 And Samuel8050 feared3372 to show4480 5046 413 Eli5941 853 the vision.4759

16 но Илий позвал его и сказал: – Шемуил, сын мой! Шемуил ответил: – Вот я.

16 Then Eli5941 called7121 853 Samuel,8050 and said,559 Samuel,8050 my son.1121 And he answered,559 Here2009 am I.

17 – Что Он сказал тебе? – спросил Илий. – Не скрывай от меня. Всевышний сурово накажет тебя, если ты скроешь от меня что-либо из того, что Он сказал тебе.

17 And he said,559 What4100 is the thing1697 that834 the LORD hath said1696 unto413 thee? I pray thee4994 hide3582 it not408 from4480 me: God430 do6213 so3541 to thee, and more3254 also,3541 if518 thou hide3582 any thing1697 from4480 me of all4480 3605 the things1697 that834 he said1696 unto413 thee.

18 Шемуил рассказал ему всё, ничего не скрывая. Тогда Илий сказал: – Он – Вечный, пусть поступает, как Ему угодно.

18 And Samuel8050 told5046 him853 every3605 whit,1697 and hid3582 nothing3808 from4480 him. And he said,559 It1931 is the LORD:3068 let him do6213 what seemeth5869 him good.2896

19 Вечный был с Шемуилом, когда тот вырос, и не оставил несбывшимся ни одного из его пророчеств.

19 And Samuel8050 grew,1431 and the LORD3068 was1961 with5973 him, and did let none3808 4480 3605 of his words1697 fall5307 to the ground.776
